PROJECT AT A GLANCE

I led UX/UI and motion design for Phoebe Jay Creative at 90° Collective, building a cinematic, work-first portfolio for films and photography across fashion, music, sport and culture.

OBJECTIVE
Help potential collaborators quickly understand Phoebe Jay’s visual approach, discover relevant projects and move from a film preview into its dedicated project page.
MY CONTRIBUTION & DELIVERABLES

DESIGN SUCCESS CRITERIA

Intended design criteria, not measured results.

  • Put the films at the center of the experience while keeping navigation easy to identify.
  • Make each featured film’s title and project link readable over moving footage.
  • Provide clear pause, fullscreen and sound controls without competing with the work.
  • Offer a direct path from a featured film into its dedicated project page.
  • Keep media proportions, navigation and controls usable on desktop and mobile.

Information architecture

A video-led landing experience introduces the work immediately. Featured projects, including Free People, Yonex Tennis, BOUT Fight Club and Topicals, link to dedicated project pages, while Overview provides a second visible browsing entry point.

Interface & motion

Full-screen film previews establish the visual tone. Restrained typography, persistent top navigation and a compact playback-control area keep project discovery and viewing actions distinct.

Responsive priorities

Maintain readable project labels and reachable playback controls over video, preserve the framing of the films, and keep the route from preview to project detail consistent across screen sizes.
